Frequently asked questions

Is there really no credit card required for the trial?

Correct — no card, no commitment. Sign up with just your email and start using VesselComply immediately. We'll ask for payment details only if you decide to continue after 14 days.

What happens when my trial ends?

You'll receive a reminder 7 days and 1 day before expiry. If you don't upgrade, your account is paused — your data is kept for 30 days so you can pick up where you left off.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, anytime. Upgrading takes effect immediately (prorated). Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, SEPA Direct Debit (€ accounts), and invoice/Net-30 for Enterprise customers. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Do prices include VAT?

Prices shown are excl. VAT. Norwegian VAT (25%) applies to Norwegian companies. EU companies with a valid VAT number are billed under the reverse-charge mechanism.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Monthly plans are month-to-month. Annual plans are billed once a year but can be cancelled before renewal for a pro-rated refund.

How does vessel-based pricing work?

Each plan has a vessel limit (2 for Starter, 10 for Professional). Each vessel can have unlimited certificates, documents, port calls and fuel logs. Need more? Contact us for Enterprise.
